Paper — The Medium as Statement

I work on paper because it remains drawing, sketch, and fragment. It does not claim to be a completed image. It is precisely this openness that interests me.

Paper has no unequivocal front and back. Both sides belong to the sheet. It creases, buckles, folds, and carries the traces of its history. It lives.

For me, paper is also a book. Sheet by sheet, a sequence of signs emerges. Each sheet stands on its own and at the same time refers to the others. The work grows not as a single image, but as an ongoing collection that becomes legible through relationship.
